When I was a Designer with Bantam Books, a friend had an internship at The Late Show. They needed help and gave me a call; three weeks later I was offered a job!  

A few years later, SNL needed someone and they called me. I helped a few weeks and passed on the full time position, the woman I recommended is still there.
